Apple : Think Different

http://www.thecrazyones.it/spot-en.html

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
While some may see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.

useR! 2016 international R User conference

Watch the broadcast live here.

About the Conference

The annual useR! conference is the main meeting of the international R user and developer community. Its program consists of both invited and user-contributed presentations.
  • The invited keynote lectures cover a broad spectrum of topics ranging from technical and R-related computing issues to general statistical topics of current interest.
  • The user-contributed presentations and posters are submitted as abstracts prior to the conference and may be related to (virtually) any R-related topic. The presentations are typically organized in sessions of either broad or special interest, which also comprise a "free" discussion format. Such a discussion format not only provides a forum for software demonstrations and detailed discussions but also supports the self-organization of the respective communities. The duration is between 15 or 20 minutes for the focus and kaleidoscope sessions, and 5 minutes for lightning talks.
This year the conference will be held at the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, CA. The conference is being organized with support from the Department of Statistics, Stanford University and the Stanford Libraries.
The program will cover topics such as
  • History of R and computing with data
  • Bayesian Statistics
  • Bioinformatics
  • Economics, Finance and Insurance
  • High Performance Computing
  • Reproducible Research
  • Industrial Applications
  • Statistical Learning with Big Data
  • Spatial Statistics
  • Teaching
  • Visualization & Graphics
  • and many more.

Startup model - SpaceBox STEP-1 program

I believed we all know that

only having a great idea is not enough
to help you get up to do things you think it is cool !!!

This is a problem for lots of people in our country too.

WE also encountered this problem, we know that from the origin of our team, we will have lots of difficulty in requesting the funding from the government agency, if this is possible  at all.

So  working like "Startup" is our solution

I read from a book called "Get Backed" by HBR press
It said

" ... secret to raising money is one simple principle :
Successful fund raisers don't raise money , they raise friend ?

So our trick is

"bridging from someone we know to someone we want to know"

And this trick gets us funded by Thaicom

and this was when everything started taking shape.

Summary - How Electronic Patient Records can slow doctor productivity

source: http://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/how-electronic-patient-records-can-slow-doctor-productivity

Q: Is doctor's productivity slowed down by the use of EHR?
(similar situation can be asked in the regular organization attempt to transform to paperless organization)
Study shows that Large office gains from using EHR while the smaller one lose productivity

The use of EHR changes the communication level between staffs and this is why the large office gains due to the improvement of the lack of face to face communication while the small office already has high level of face to face communication thus the introduction of EHR does not improve anything relating to this element.

As physicians spent extra time entering data by themselves, it cut down time spent with patients and stretched out their work day. Thus EHR-related task often is delegated to support staff.

In summary, Use of EHR with great delegation will increase productivity in large office.

Benefits of the use of EHR:
1.USe of data
2.EHR creates chance of communication
